Things That Kept Me Occupied

I have been really busy since March 16. My mother and I are sifting through our bundles, segregating the preloved clothes depending on their condition; calculating the price in terms of the number of clothes; organizing them in our garage every morning, and putting is in storage every night.

It is a very tiring process but at the same time, it is enjoyable too because we got to talk to customers by helping them choose what clothes they like. I usually act as a guard while I attend my online class and do my assignments. Even now that the classes are over, I still look over our business to make sure that every client will be entertained.

My time is completely occupied since then because school project keeps coming at that time too so I have to stop writing at a certain time. Now I'm writing this I'm already preparing for the buffers so please look forward to that!

Now that I know how our business work, I want to learn sewing because some clothes need repairs or it is not compatible with the most common weather in my place. I can also upcycle them once I learn how to sew more. I can do simple hand-stitch now so I'm really excited about my dressmaking class. I have this strong urge to learn sewing though which is bad when I do not have money.

I'm also currently learning how to graphite/charcoal drawing because a friend of mine give me a set yesterday. I'm really happy and grateful because I can't think of myself buying art material due to our situation, but with this gift, I want to explore a new medium. I also got scouted in a visual arts group so I've been really busy attending meetings and making publicity materials. I might be able to use my new tools to show my art to other people in the future.

Once I secure my spot for college, I will have more time to do my hobbies. Looking for a new school that doesn't have a cost is hard. It's difficult to get scholarships too and that is what stressing me out since the end of classes. I kept writing and answering forms. I even forgot to check this website, I already skip 2 weeks of no post. I really want to save money so I hope that the school I'm betting on will get me accepted. That's all I want for now and I hope they hear my prayers.
