A Letter To You

I will never forget those days. The days when you are always with me; in sleeping, in eating, and in drawing our dreams in life. "Brother, you did great!" You applaud me for dancing. "Aysus! You're just pleasing me so I can give you five pesos." You laughed softly because I exposed you effortlessly. "Pretty please," you begged me while sparkling your eyes. I always try to give you the things you want. Things our own parents never gave you. Love, care, discipline and guidance. Do you still remember? You like to flatter me so I can give you a coin. I took  five pesos  from my pocket that I also asked from my friends. "Here." I handed you the coin. You gave me a kiss on the cheek in return. That kiss is the clearest in my memory. Because I didn’t expect it to be the last. If I only knew that was going to happen, I would have given you a kiss too. I wish I embraced you tightly. I hope I fulfill the wishes you have been asking for so long. Hope. I

New Year's Resolution

A new year means a new start for others. I am one of them. I celebrated the new year not feeling well and it made me realize that I do not want it to happen again. I will take action to improve myself this new year. Here is the list of my goals: 1. Take care of myself better than last year I have to admit, I messed up last year. I can't count on my fingers how many times I get sick. I really need professional help but we always have hiccups when it comes to medication. When I have my checkups again, I will try to be more responsible and buy the medicine myself then use the money I saved from December. I will also try not to stress myself too much. I know I'm kind of a perfectionist to my school projects but if I want to prioritize my health, I have to learn not to give worries when they start blocking my goals in life. I still have a one-semester to go so I want to survive them in a healthier way. I have to stop forgetting things like my vitamin C and water. A piece of advice f
