Kid knows that Rey is in big trouble but he can't do anything to help him. If he forces him out, he might cut the arms of the people who are holding him. He can't also force Leivo out because he is powerful to detect it before he even started. Rey might not see it but he first tried to open a path for Leivo and push him out of the museum. Once upon a time, there was a table tennis player who forced her hand to be bent during a practice game. She felt pain every time he holds something so she resorted to using her non-dominant hand to get through the day. Whenever she does tiring movements in her hand, the pain comes back.
