Day 25 No Entry September 5, 2022 Day 26 On this day, we fixed my very high-waisted pants. My classmates helped me finish the waistband and the hem because we are running out of time, the service is already there. Good thing she is a pro I'm very grateful because the way she sews mine is very neat but efficient at the same time. September 6, 2022 Day 27 I did not do any sewing projects this day because I kept overseeing the formatting of the attendance. September 7, 2022 Day 28 The same with yesterday I help with writing the attendance but I manage to sew a small blouse. The extreme heat made me so exhausted that I can't properly comprehend and apply what is being taught to me. However, I still finished it in 3 hours so I think it is a good thing. I just need more practice and I should practice sewing button holes because I know I'm very slow on that one. September 8, 2022 Day 29 I did not sew anything on this day because I'm just here to have attendance and pass my pap

Day 21 This is the day I finalized my blouse. However, it became too short for me so I had to adjust its hem which is very frustrating because all the mishaps could have been avoided if it was taught to us beforehand. I have a mental breakdown at school. The environment is already unhealthy from the start, but at the same time, I'm not learning anything. I cannot give all the details but I'll only say that the learning environment is very unpleasant and I do not like staying there for long. I would rather learn at home so I'm not distracted by the things that are happening around me. I feel like we are wasting time there. August 30, 2021 Day 22 I started putting buttons and buttonholes on this day for my blouse. As usual, I'm very slow so it took me almost a day to finish. I endured the day at least but I'm not really that happy even if I finished my blouse and I can already wear it. I still have a lot to learn so I can apply the process of dressmaking properly. Aug

Day 16 I tried making a facemask out of old fabric. I cut my printed pattern and then the fabric. I put basting in it even though it doesn't really need to then connect them together. I haven't finished it because I don't really feel well today so I might finish it next time. August 22, 2022 Day 17 This is a pretty boring day because we are only a few and it is raining hard. I can't borrow any good sewing machine; our instructor teaches us by watching her sew. Which is hard because I can't memorize the process and the concept behind it. I kinda want her to teach us while we are on the sewing machine so me can train our muscle memory. Not only that she said before that we should not put edging on everything even though she didn't. So I have to remove almost everything on my fabric even though it keeps the fabric from fraying. I have no choice but to abide without knowing the purpose and why. Day 11 Today was a very productive day because I continuously worked from morning to afternoon. In the morning, I used a high speed that is very hard to control because of how fast it is even when I press lightly. My classmate who sews for a living demonstrated how to thread the sewing machine and sew tax. She made me more confident in sewing because when I'm having a hard time starting, I try to remember and imitate how she does hers. After that, I continue where I left off with the ordinary sewing machine and my mom guided me in the steps which I still can't memorize. I manage to almost finish the blouse and pants. I just have to finalize it by sewing buttonholes and buttons. Day 6 I was really nervous last night because my college is also starting today. Good thing that the online meeting did not happen because I kept waiting for it but no one sends a link on our group chat. What we did this day is to practice our foot control. We use a piece of paper folded into two and run our sewing machines without threads. I did not stop retrying until I make a straight line. That's when I realized that I prefer a highspeed lover to an ordinary machine with a motor. Highspeed has more control and is also silent. The table does not vibrate like crazy in comparison to the ordinary sewing machine and I like how high speed can go so much faster even though I do not really need that horsepower because I'm just a beginner. Later this day, our teacher taught us how to cut and sew the pattern we made with a small replica. I can't remember all the steps so I hope I can do it too the same way that she did. When I say I want to improve my skills, this is what I meant. I want to enhance my creativity but now, with garments. It is pretty hard to enroll for this short course here in my place (for free too) because they have hidden it well. Fortunately, we found it! I will use what I learned for our business that is why I'm trying new things. Looking forward to getting my national certificate by the end of 35 days! We have classes from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (with an exception on Mondays because we have a flag ceremony at 7:30am). I only have two assignments to talk about because these tasks are so hard to finish that I started to doubt my capabilities as a student. The first one is my research. We did this research for almost a year and doing the thematic analysis was so hard that it took me almost a week to validate my data. I'm very glad that in this last quarter, the remaining parts of the research are easier. My research is finished and I'm contented with it. We have to take a video of ourselves presenting our research and I have to go through that with my lip gum wounded. I can't talk properly without making a funny face so I just endured it even in my defense. I was relieved when it was announced that we will only have 5 minutes each. When my scheduled day came, I was supposed to be the 2nd student to defend my research. I have been really busy since March 16. My mother and I are sifting through our bundles, segregating the preloved clothes depending on their condition; calculating the price in terms of the number of clothes; organizing them in our garage every morning, and putting is in storage every night. It is a very tiring process but at the same time, it is enjoyable too because we got to talk to customers by helping them choose what clothes they like. I usually act as a guard while I attend my online class and do my assignments. Even now that the classes are over, I still look over our business to make sure that every client will be entertained. My time is completely occupied since then because school project keeps coming at that time too so I have to stop writing at a certain time. Time really flew fast. It's almost been 2 months since the second grading ended and now we are wrapping up the third grading. We only have 3 subjects this grading because my school changed their setup for face-to-face classes. I still attend online classes though because I did not sign the waiver for on-site classes. Anyways, here are my favorite assignments for this third grading. Blogs. This is the most likable assignment in Creative Nonfiction. I posted two blogs and these are "Creative Nonfiction: The Balance of Imagination and Facts" and "Online Classes: Experiences & Recommendations." Creative Nonfiction is a genre of writing that uses literary techniques in order to tell a true story. It includes biography, literary journalism, personal narrative, reflective essay, travelogue, blog, testimonial, and more. It can be considered as the balance of imagination and facts because when we are writing creative nonfiction, we try to remember a true event in our life and use our imagination to recall those memories. We use our imagination to put them into words and immerse our readers in our life. We can also back it up with real photos and testimony of other people to make it believable. However, it is easier to explain than to apply. I see this to myself. Sometimes I forgot to describe a scenario, leaving the readers imagining the event in a blank space; sometimes I add too much information that it strips the "creative" in nonfiction. Ever since I was a kid, I always studied in a traditional way; I will go to school, the teacher will discuss the lesson and return home and do my assignment. When the pandemic came, I switched to online classes. The setup is through applications like learning management systems and video conferencing software. Each one of us from teachers to students has accounts that we use to access LMS. Inside the LMS, teachers provide classes where we can read and watch lessons during asynchronous. In synchronous classes, on the other hand, we use video conferencing apps to meet our teachers and classmates. Sometimes we tackle our lesson again even if it is already in LMS but most of the time, we do class participation like the presentation of group activity or just standard recitation. Here I am again writing about my made-up language for my story: Daragiun Island Series. Not only does it help with the world-building of my story Bottle of Stories and Daragiun Island, but it also makes a certain world different from each other so please look forward to my other languages. Caltuang is based on the word "cat language" because the vowels look like a cat's eyes. Structure-wise, it is almost the same with English with some words are scrambled to make a new sound. So it still can be used in the story without the scrambling because the focus of Caltuang is the characters. I'm still writing translations that will be updated the same way with Tokun Language. I have been using Linux since February and I like it! Linux Mint to be exact. It did not take a lot of time to get used to it because the appearance is similar to Windows. However, one thing is for sure: Terminal is hard. Let's talk about why I switched from Windows 7 to Linux Mint. It all started with the driver issues I have with my laptop (it was given to me by my godmother). The keyboard is not working when I boot the device and I have to lock it before I can use it. The touchpad cannot be turned off. We tried to find a solution to it but it is very hard to find one. Additionally, the laptop suffers from compatibility issues like in certain applications because of the un-updated OS. I cannot install the application I want to use.
