Bottle of Stories (56)

A day had passed since they arrived in their world. It is Sunday, Rey prepared the important stuff into his bag.

He turned to the mirror in his room. He fixed the collar of his blue polo paired with brown jeans.

Everything is ready but he forgot to say goodbye to his friends. In exchange, he left his house and went to their house.

They started a conversation outside the house. Annie and Jayson are well-dressed too.

"Why are you wearing your sword Jayson? We will only go to church," said Annie.

"Why you people always stopped me from bringing my swords? Back then at school and now at church? How about when something to us?' complained Jayson.

"Hep hep! Stop that this will be a fast meeting. Me and my Dad will leave today. I will return by Monday morning. It is my uncle's birthday today so for sure they will drink again up until midnight."

"Do you remember what they said? Bad things might happen to us if we skip days in opening the bottle," told Annie.

Rey signaled his hands assuring them to not worry. "Do you want me to open it now? Time here is not even affected when we are in another world." He touched the necklace on his neck.

"Don't open it," said Jayson. "We should rest because of what we go through Yesterday."

Rey slouched his back and sighed. "How weak you are, Jayson." He tried to complain but Rey continued what he was going to say. "But I agree, we should go tomorrow after classes. Nothing will happen to you Annie because you're with Jayson. Bye-bye." He waved his hand before stepped away.

"Don't ever come back!" shouted Jayson.

"In your dreams!" He laughed as he walked.

When he came back to his house, his father greeted him.

His eyes enlarged when it approached him and pinched his ear.

"Where did you go? You already know that we will leave today. We should arrive there early but here you are, wasting time." He let him free and pointed two bags at the bench.

Rey put the bag on his back while he was holding onto another backpack.

"Yes, carry all the bags and try to be useful." This was the last lecture he receives from his father.

From the tricycle up to the second bus they did not talk to each other. He was beside the window with his father sitting on his side.

He observed the scenery outside. He remembered his conversation with Annie and Jayson.
