Bottle of Stories (63)

He never thought that he would see the sky sparkling like what he sees right now. The trees whistled, and the grass danced as the wind blows. He was lying on the ground, feeling the soft breeze of nature.

It was a surreal experience. He wished that real life is beautiful like this one. There are no pain and conflict around. It is just him and his surrounding.

He switched his head to the right saw a figure beside him. He immediately inhaled and held his breath.

"Don't be so surprised, Mister. It is me, Kid from the earlier."

"When did you get here?" Jayson said with furrowed brows.

"We played hide and seek and I just decided to stay here instead," he said enthusiastically.

"So you ditched your playmates?"

He quickly raised his upper body and clapped once. "Please do not tell them!" he begged.

Jayson let out a big sigh. "I want this to end now. This is taking too long."

"You should not think too much." Kid lied on the grass and put his hands on his chest. "I know someone who said the same thing. He is hot-tempered and gets into fights easily. Alone he is self-centered, but with others, he is a great comrade.

"I treated him as a family and friend. But I do not think he actually thought it that way. He always loses his patience in everything. You are much better than him. You helped me a while back even I cannot give you anything in return.

"So try to have more patience because once you get there, the results will be better than the outcome of rushing things. Do not be like the person I know because if you learned the fastest way, you will forget the morals you used to believe in."

"What happened to the guy you are talking about?" Jayson asked.

"You know I am a guardian right? Guardians do not die because we live to fulfill our duties. He is connected to me in some sort of way so he cannot die too. I went to this era to erase his memories and throw him back to his world."

"Sounds like he is the worst person for you to say those words."

"I hate him. I made the wrong decision about meeting him. He even scolded me for walking too slow." He giggled. "Well, I should be the one lecturing you but I end up telling you my experience instead."

If Jayson happened to meet the person, he will slap his face to make him realize that he should not demand so much for the blind. "What is his name?"

"Why are you interested? You will never meet him anyway?"

"I will beat the sense out of him so he will never treat you that way again." Just in case he met him on the other worlds with Annie and Rey.

"That would be so funny! You never know him and you will just approach him to punch his guts!" Kid laughed and slapped his leg. "I will not tell you! He reverted back to his old state now so he will not remember those things." He can not stop laughing and he even rolled around the field.

After a minute, he stood up. "I have to go now, my friends are probably looking for me. Can we talk to each other again next time?"

"Sure."

"You are a great listener! Such patience. I hope he learns it too!" He vanished in a blink of an eye.

Jayson looked up to the sky once again.

'Maybe that's what will happen to me if I keep complaining. I should keep that in mind,' he thought.
