Bottle of Stories (96)

"Did you hear that? Someone just called my name."

Annie and Jayson shook their head.

He heard the voice again, it sound more desperate this time. He looked for every house nearby but he see no one.

"Who's voice is it again? Annie? But Annie is here." When he turned his head, his friends were not there anymore.

That's why he felt something off. The voices of his friends are only on his head but the one who's calling for him goes straight to his ears.

He tried to find where the voice came from by walking on the streets until he finally went back on the field and saw the guardian of dreams once again.

"I'm now allowing you to leave this place, but before that." The guardian approached him. "I want to give this to you." He touched Rey's forehead and his eyes glow brighter.

Everything about Rey's family history flashed in his eyes. It was very detailed and it gets to the point where he saw what his ancestor did to Kid up to his mother's life. The amount of information he got was too much to handle that he did not notice that he was already awake.

Annie kept calling his name and it is a sign that she is in danger. He promised that he will protect her no matter what.

The first thing he does is to use the things he learned from the memories given by the guardian of dreams. He used all the excess aura in the bottle and try to control it. The remains of his ancestors are still usable if he will compress them because they will try to escape the bottle.

Then with great precision, he can apprehend everyone in sight. The bottle released glowing web-like lines and with a stab, no one can feel pain but they won't be able to move that part of their body. It seems like time stopped when everyone is like a statue.

"Annie!" Rey shouted.

"Rey!" she responded.

Annie can't see Rey because of the stunned people surrounding her. Kid then appeared and handed her arrows.

"We still have to beat, Leivo, right? Let's go," said Kid. Once Annie holds her arrows they are transported to an area where they can clearly see Leivo and Rey.

"Rey, let me go," Leivo begged. However, Rey looked at him with fear. "I'm sorry, please don't let them hurt me."

Rey looked away as he was still tied to the chair.

Annie prepared her most powerful attack and aimed for Leivo's head accessory. Once she released it, it went straight to his forehead but before it landed, Kid raised his hand to switch the direction of the arrow in the opposite way. Kid put it on Leivo's back so it hits the accessory perfectly.

The sun is already rising and the heat of morning came inside the large windows of the museum. The cursed people's black marks are faded and Rey's chains reverted to its original form. Leivo's source of power is also broken.

The light blue lines that bound people are also gone. Some people who were freed fell on the floor.

Annie ran towards Rey and he did the same. They hugged each other and jumped happily together.

"We did it, Rey!"

"Yeah, I thought I was dreaming when I saw you shoot your arrow!"

"I will not be able to do it if it wasn't for you."

"Annie, you're so cool!" Rey giggled as he let go of Annie from his embrace.

In the corner of Annie's eyes, she saw Leivo trying to stand up.

"I still won. They will not remember that I cursed them even when my powers are gone."

Annie nocked her arrow as a reflex and pointed it to Leivo.

"However, they will remember what the Skar family did to my parents. He will be the most hated person in this place." He stood up full of composure. "Rey, I did this all on my own. Are you proud of me?"
