"But you did that to Rey!" said Cu in a loud manner so he would reach Leivo's common sense.

"If you did not come here, this will not happen."

Cu stepped backward as the unapprehended cursed people approached him. "Guardian of Space, what should I do."

"You can call me Kid," said Kid who is hanging upside down.

'I did not think he was that special. He avoided being touched too,' said Leivo to himself. 'Why is he doing this? Did I made him my enemy?'

Unlike Kid, Jayson can still move his arms despite being stuck. He sliced his way out from the glowing line.

"You will pay," said Jayson who is burning in anger.

"Try me," Leivo provoked.

Jayson slashed an attack sustains itself until it reaches something.

Leivo just shielded himself and started mumbling unintelligible words. He runs towards Jayson while only defending themselves.

"Jayson, stay calm!" said Kid.

"How about me, should I stay calm in this situation," Cu can't get out of Leivo's goons because they are forming a circle to corner him.

Annie gathered her courage, grabbed an old umbrella, and hit someone on the head.

"Annie!" Cu brightened when he saw Annie safe.

Annie continued clearing the path for Cu while Cu is trying to pull Kid out of the glowing thing.

"I just need to move my hand," Kid requested.

"I will help you with that. Just a little more." Cu put all his force in pulling Kid's hand.

While they are occupied, Jayson and Leivo are having their own battle. Jayson focused on offense while Leivo is on defense.

Jayson was about to attack when Leivo grabbed his wrist. Jayson grew weaker as Leivo absorbs his aura. This became the reason he wasn't able to move anymore.

"There you go!" said Cu who finished freeing Kid's hand.

Kid was able to escape in a blink of an eye. "We are late. Now, Jayson is one of them."

"Jayson!" called Annie but he did not respond.

"We should retreat," said Kid before transporting themselves to OP's location near the pier.

"What happened?" asked OP.

Annie burst into tears. "I'm sorry, I did not do anything earlier. Now Jayson is in trouble too."

"Leivo did something to Rey that made him unconscious and he turned also turned Jayson into one of his goons," explained Cu.

Annie wailed even more hearing Cu's explanation. Kid tapped her back to comfort her.

OP bit his thumb and pause for a second without saying anything. "That's a problem, Jayson is the only one who can match him."

"Do you mind if we transfer to a warm place?"

The good thing was when they teleported in one of the hotels, electricity is still working. Annie locked herself into one of the bedrooms while Cu, OP, and Kid were having their dilemma on the dining table.

"I can't think of anything," said OP. "Maybe we should just ask help from the outside instead of doing things on ourselves." When he glanced at Kid he remembered their deal earlier. "Or not."

"I think that's the best we can do," said Kid. "Leivo already knows my weakness."

"We should not give up yet, think about Annie. Let's also hear what she has to say," said Cu.

Annie went out of her room after hearing their conversation. "I have made up my mind. I'm going to save my friends."
