A new year means a new start for others. I am one of them. I celebrated the new year not feeling well and it made me realize that I do not want it to happen again. I will take action to improve myself this new year. Here is the list of my goals: 1. Take care of myself better than last year I have to admit, I messed up last year. I can't count on my fingers how many times I get sick. I really need professional help but we always have hiccups when it comes to medication. When I have my checkups again, I will try to be more responsible and buy the medicine myself then use the money I saved from December. I will also try not to stress myself too much. I know I'm kind of a perfectionist to my school projects but if I want to prioritize my health, I have to learn not to give worries when they start blocking my goals in life. December is equally an unlucky and lucky month. There is a lot of bad things that happened but there are good ones too. I want to reflect on those things so I will write them on this blog. This month, I was really stressed because I have to keep carrying group projects because I have this irrational fear that if I do not take initiative, our grades will all fall and it will be my fault because I can. You know anxiety together with stress, that is how it feels like. I have to keep holding on to my hope that I will be able to graduate and leave my school because I have been suffering there for almost 6 years. Sometimes I regret transferring to my current school because if only I stayed at my previous school, I will probably have 4 years that are less stressful. However, if I actually stayed there, my perception of hard will be different too. I will not be ready in college as much as I am now. Lastly, I will not meet the people that changed me for good. I started playing again this December! That is why I really enjoyed my break and made a few buffers. You can check my progress on the left side. I want to share what I'm currently playing this month. 1. Rainy Attic Room This game is relaxing and I can live it for a long time. It helped me not get distracted during the last days of school before the break. I haven't finished the game so I do not have a lot to say. It reminds me of the game I played before which is Alter Ego where I tap to get points. 2. Purrfect Tale This game is so cute and it is literary perfect if you can expand, design, and have a lot of cats in your house. This is so addicting that I might delete it once January comes. Just kidding, what I'm planning to do is just do the task in winter celebration and harvest my crops. So once I have a lot of free time, I have a lot of things already gathered. This December, I recorded my monologue assignment. After that, I went downstairs to turn on my PC. Then, BOOM! my PC exploded. Specifically, the CPU's power supply. I'm currently sharing with my brother's PC. Then after a few days, the AVR exploded. I don't know why I'm so unlucky that week. Thankfully, I'm safe and all my important files are on my hard drive. Rest in peace to the curtain that got a small burn. I actually heard it burning when I turned on the AVR so I immediately told my family something it is burning before it exploded. I'm kinda shy when using my brother's PC but I will probably get used to it. I have this strong urge to have my own devices like a tablet or laptop so I can't bother him but I know we do not have enough money for that. The table here is small to fit my pen tab and very unstable too so I haven't finished any artwork here yet. I edited some for school purposes with the mouse and demo drawing with my pen tab.
