Bottle of Stories (82)

Jayson and Annie are sitting beside each other where Cu left them. They are waiting for them to return so Jayson opened a conversation.

"Once we are done with this world. I will still confront his father."

"I wish I could be brave like you. I want to help him for a long time. But I'm scared. Rey always helped me but I can't do anything in return," said Annie.

"Really? When I look at you together, Rey always seems happy and bright. At first glance, no one will notice he is having a rough life. He is probably broken, but you are the one who picked him up."

Out of embarrassment, Annie covered her face with her hands.

"You did more than I could ever do. You gave him a friend that understands him, trusts him, and respects him for all those years," complimented Jayson.

"I'm really glad we met you and we got to do these adventures with you," said Annie with an almost crying voice.

Jayson blushed a little.

While they are having their conversation. Cu is currently putting an ointment to Rey's bruise.

"Who is did that to those people."

"Haven't you heard the news? Leivo came back! The son of the famous witches who died hundred years ago. Legend said that he killed his parents to steal the book of curses, so he can put everyone into a curse."

"No one can live that long," said Rey in doubt.

"I did not believe it at first, but he fits all the description of the legend. He came back to bring chaos to our island. Those black marks are all controlled by him. So don't let them touch or you will become one of them."

Rey thought it is a bit of a stretch because there must be more reason why Leivo does this. However, he still believes that it is currently dangerous in this world so he got to be careful. He does not want to put his friends in danger again because of his recklessness.

Then he realized something that can help them get out of this place. That person probably has the cap.

All of the people inside the underpass were called out by their acting leader.

"My name is Colt Skar. This is Opperd Prunge, OP. " He glanced at his partner. "We already inspected the nearby location and there is no one left to rescue."

"We are afraid to tell you that all your missing companions will be left on this island because they have probably become one of Leivo's goons," continued OP.

"We have to move or else they might find us and curse as all. However, the only way to get out of this island is through watercraft. There are three piers on this island that has enough boat to transport us all," explained Skar.

"Our plan is to divide our group into three. Then we will proceed to our assigned pier to escape this island. We have to move discreetly. If there are Leivo's goons in your pier your group should hide and wait for the right time. Do not engage in a fight. We do not want our innocent civilians to get hurt."

"After one of our groups' escapes, they should find someone who can lift the curse and come back to this island so we can save everyone."

Rey, Annie, and Jayson listened to the adults' plan. Rey now also wanted to share his plan with his friends. However, he wanted to share first the conclusion he reached after hearing the story about the said witch.

"I'm sure that Leivo is the one who can remove the curse of this bottle."
