Bottle of Stories (84)

The man who is previously cursed was confused for a second. Until he realized he was back thanks to the boy in front of him. "Why would you want to go there? Can you stop him?"

"I don't know. Please point where he is," Rey pleaded.

"I also do not know where it is located because I'm just a tourist here. What I remember is that place is big and far from here. Leivo said that once the sun goes down, all of us should return to him. So you should follow them when it is dark." He pointed to the other cursed people who only observed them.

"Thank you."

"Be careful out there, I can't go with you." He followed the flock of people who escaped.

The marked ones were about to catch him but Rey blocked them. They did not want to escape from Leivo's control so it is best for them not to come close to Rey. They spread their forces and Rey only followed one of them.

He did not stop following them up until night. He never touched anyone because he might be lost his lead. Unless they attacked him first he will have to defend himself by grabbing them.

Rey found a museum where many people are going inside. He is in the right place. A sudden cold struck him because of the thought that he will meet a possibly dangerous person. He needs to be brave, for Annie, for Jayson, and the people of this world. His interference might change the fate of the people whether it is good or bad.

Rey gulped once before entering the museum.

Inside, everyone is walking in line like a battalion. The glassed item is cannot be seen because of the number of people moving forward. Then it stopped.

"We have a visitor," a young voice announced. "Come out, curse disruptor!"

Everyone moved to the side except Rey. It created a path that leads to a boy, named Leivo.

He walked towards Leivo while trembling. This museum is already scary in the first place because it is dark, but a kid with red glowing eyes added to the fear factor he is currently experiencing.

"Why walk so slow?" said Leivo after Rey stopped in front of him.

"Are you scared?" Leivo giggled. "Can someone open all of the lights? He might be scared of the dark."

Rey was confused. Is this kid just mocked him?

"I do not know where the switch is so I just used a candle there." At the back, there is a glass box where the candle stands above. Inside is probably an important historical scroll on a stand. Rey did not notice it at first glance but it was very sacrilegious.

The lights were illuminated and everything becomes very bright so Rey has to close his eyes for a moment before opening it again.

"Your name?" asked Leivo.

"Rey."

"I'm Leivo, nice to meet you. You are very courageous for coming here without company." He patted his back while laughing. "What's your business?"

He sighed out of relief. "Can you remove the curse of this bottle?" Rey showed the necklace on his neck.

Leivo smiled. "That is some high-level curse. It is also the reason why you do not have enough aura in you. I cannot remove it on my own. But if the one who cursed this poor thing is here, then I can do it for you."

"I'm afraid I do not know who that is."

Leivo raised his eyebrows. "What? It is you!"

"No, it is not me."

"Your family or anyone blood-related to you, it is the same."

Rey was baffled so he askes Leivo instead. "Will you help me?"

"Of course! Then you should become my friend."
